Haint Skateboards is a small handmade skateboard company specializing in longboards and cruisers. A majority of our boards are made from reclaimed lumber, and most of that is old barn wood. Our hand-crafted skateboards are made one at a time in our small shop in Knoxville, TN by Billy Davenport and Dan Lipe.
The word Haint comes from the southern custom of painting porch ceiling “haunt blue” to ward off spirits and spiders (haint being a colloquial version “haunt”). Our products capture the spirits in the old wood, transforming them into something that is beautiful, fun to ride and sustainable.
Haint skateboards are currently available by contacting us and will soon be available at The Parlor on Gay Street in downtown Knoxville.
